Lost items are one of the most searched features in Storage Hunters Open World. 29 hidden collectibles are scattered across the open world — inside playground tunnels, under bridges, on rooftops, behind dealerships, and even underwater in the lake. Finding them all requires map knowledge, camera angle tricks, and sometimes key items that unlock sealed areas.
How to Track Lost Items
Click the Collections button on the right side of your screen, then select Lost at the bottom. This menu shows every collectible you have found and which ones remain. Each found item is permanently checked off, making this a true completionist challenge that drives significant YouTube search traffic and community discussion.

Notable Location Hints
The Book hides in the playground tunnel. The Key sits under a bridge near the farm beach — you need this key in your hotbar to unlock the back alley garage for the Site Sign. The Horseshoe is behind a tree near the lake, and the Painting is underwater in the lake itself. The Brand Iron requires climbing the silo ladder near the barn. The Water Can sits in the junkyard between storage units, and the Acoustic Guitar rests on a garage roof behind the dealership.

Tips for Collecting
Zoom your camera out to spot rooftop items — many are invisible at default angles. Drive between zones efficiently using vehicles from our vehicles guide. Some locations require glitching through walls or accessing elevated positions via ladders. Mark each found item immediately in Collections to track remaining targets.
